Case example:

MercedesCup, Stuttgart Weissenhof (2002–2021)

There are up to twenty vehicles in the shuttle between the official hotel and the tournament site. Transportation service managers at the hotel and at the tournament site help organise one of the ATP’s oldest tournaments. The players used to have red feet but now they play on grass. Careful planning and arrangement help ensure that, even if it rains, the tournament won’t be disrupted. At the end of the tournament, the vehicles are returned to the sponsor – washed, with a full tank of petrol and having been driven over one thousand kilometres on the streets of Stuttgart.
